The Chrysler Voyager has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags helps prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The Sienna doesn’t offer a front passenger side knee airbag.

The Voyager has standard Stow ’n Go second and third row seats, which fold flat into the floor. This completely clears a very large cargo area quickly. The Sienna only has a third row Split & Stow seat which folds into the floor. The Sienna’s second row seat doesn’t fold into the floor and eats up cargo room.

The Voyager’s standard towing capacity is much higher than the Sienna’s (3600 vs. 3500 pounds).

The Voyager has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The Sienna doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

The Voyager’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The Sienna does not have an oil pressure gauge.

The Voyager has a standard heated steering wheel to take the chill out of steering on extremely cold winter days before the vehicle heater warms up. A heated steering wheel is only available on the Sienna Platinum.

Insurance will cost less for the Voyager owner. The Complete Car Cost Guide estimates that insurance for the Voyager will cost $45 to $1735 less than the Sienna over a five-year period.
