The Transit Connect Wagon’s optional lane departure warning system alerts a temporarily inattentive driver when the vehicle begins to leave its lane and gently nudges the vehicle back towards its lane. The Voyager doesn’t offer a lane departure warning system.

The Transit Connect Wagon has standard Reverse Sensing System to help warn the driver about vehicles, pedestrians or other obstacles behind or, optionally, in front of the vehicle. The Voyager doesn’t offer a front parking aid.

To reliably power the ignition and other systems and to recharge the battery, the Transit Connect Wagon has a standard 220-amp alternator. The Voyager’s 180-amp alternator isn’t as powerful.

To reliably start during all conditions and help handle large electrical loads, the Transit Connect Wagon has a standard 800-amp battery. The Voyager only offers a 730-amp battery.

On the EPA test cycle the Transit Connect Wagon 2.0 DOHC 4-cylinder gets better city fuel mileage than the Voyager (24 city/28 hwy vs. 19 city/28 hwy).

The Transit Connect Wagon has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Voyager doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

For more complete vehicle control the Transit Connect Wagon has a manually controlled automatic, with the available convenience of an automatic transmission and the complete gear control of a manual transmission without the inconvenience of a clutch. The Transit Connect Wagon XLT/Titanium’s front and rear power windows all open or close fully with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside the car. The Voyager’s rear power window switches have to be held the entire time to open them fully. Only its driver’s window opens automatically.

Passive Entry/Passive Start optional on the Transit Connect Wagon (except XL) allows you to unlock the driver’s door, cargo door and start the engine all without removing a key from pocket or purse. This eliminates searching for keys before loading groceries, getting in the vehicle in bad weather or making a hurried start to your trip. The Chrysler Voyager’s Keyless-Enter-N-Go doesn’t unlock the cargo door.

The Transit Connect Wagon’s rain-sensitive wipers adjust their speed and turn on and off automatically based on the amount of rainfall on the windshield. This allows the driver to concentrate on driving without constantly adjusting the wipers. The Voyager’s manually variable intermittent wipers have to be constantly adjusted.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are optional on the Transit Connect Wagon to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The Voyager doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

While driving with high beams on, sensitive light sensors available for the Transit Connect Wagon detect other vehicles which could be blinded and automatically switch to low beams. The Voyager doesn’t offer automatic dimming high beams.

To help drivers avoid possible obstacles, the Transit Connect Wagon offers optional cornering lights to illuminate around corners when the turn signals are activated. The Voyager doesn’t offer cornering lights.

The Transit Connect Wagon’s standard rear view mirror has an automatic dimming feature. This mirror can be set to automatically darken quickly when headlights shine on it, keeping following vehicles from blinding or distracting the driver.
