The NSX’s pre-crash front seatbelts will tighten automatically in the event the vehicle detects an impending crash, improving protection against injury significantly. The Aventador doesn’t offer pre-crash pretensioners.

The NSX’s blind spot mirrors use wide-angle convex mirrors mounted in the corner of each side view mirror to reveal objects that may be in the driver’s blind spots. The Aventador doesn’t offer a system to reveal objects in the driver’s blind spots.

The Aventador’s redline is at 8500 RPM, which causes more engine wear, and a greater chance of a catastrophic engine failure. The NSX has a 7500 RPM redline.

Regenerative brakes improve the NSX’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Aventador doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

The NSX has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. In an emergency stopping situation, many drivers don’t press the brakes with enough force to stop the vehicle in the shortest distance. The NSX has a standard brake assist system to detect emergency braking situations (by how hard and how quickly the brake pedal is pressed) and then automatically apply maximum braking immediately in order to help prevent a collision. The NSX’s standard power windows have a locking feature to keep children from operating them. Lamborghini does not offer a locking feature on the Aventador’s standard power windows.

The NSX’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Aventador’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

While driving with high beams on, sensitive light sensors standard on the NSX detect other vehicles which could be blinded and automatically switch to low beams. The Aventador doesn’t offer automatic dimming high beams.

When the NSX is put in reverse, both rearview mirrors tilt from their original position. This gives the driver a better view of the curb during parallel parking maneuvers. Shifting out of reverse puts the mirrors into their original positions. The Aventador’s mirrors don’t automatically adjust for backing.

The NSX’s standard dual zone air conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to choose two completely different temperatures so people with different temperature preferences won’t have to compromise. This makes both the driver and front passenger as comfortable as possible. The Aventador doesn’t offer dual zone air conditioning.
