The Bolt EUV has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The Ioniq Electric doesn’t offer a remote starting system.
The Bolt EUV’s front and rear power windows all open fully with one touch of the switches and its front windows also automatically close, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside the car. The Ioniq Electric’s standard passenger windows don’t open or close automatically. The Ioniq Electric’s optional windows’ rear windows don’t open automatically.
The Bolt EUV’s power window, power lock, power mirror and cruise control switches are lit from behind, making them plainly visible and easier to operate at night. The Ioniq Electric’s power mirror switches are unlit, making them difficult to find at night and operate safely.
The Bolt EUV Premier’s standard wipers adjust their speed and turn on and off automatically according to the amount of rainfall on the windshield. The Ioniq Electric’s manually variable intermittent wipers have to be constantly adjusted.
To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the Bolt EUV has a standard rear wiper. The Ioniq Electric doesn’t offer a rear wiper.
Both the Bolt EUV and the Ioniq Electric offer available heated front seats. The Bolt EUV Premier also has standard heated rear seats to keep those passengers extremely comfortable in the winter. Heated rear seats aren’t available in the Ioniq Electric.
Optional air-conditioned seats in the Bolt EUV keep the driver and front passenger comfortable and take the sting out of hot seats in Summer. The Ioniq Electric doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats.
On extremely cold winter days, the Bolt EUV’s optional heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the vehicle heater warms up. The Ioniq Electric doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel.
To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Chevrolet Bolt EUV has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the center console. The Ioniq Electric doesn’t offer wireless personal charging.
