The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The X3 M doesn’t offer a remote starting system.
The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk’s standard easy entry system raises the steering wheel and glides the driver’s seat back, making it easier for the driver to get in and out. The X3 M doesn’t offer an easy entry system.
The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The X3 M does not have an oil pressure gauge.
To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has a standard rear fixed intermittent wiper with a full on position. The rear wiper standard on the X3 M only has an intermittent setting, so in a hard rain visibility isn’t as good.
In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The X3 M doesn’t offer headlight washers.
Standard air-conditioned seats in the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk keep the driver and front passenger comfortable and take the sting out of hot seats in summer. The X3 M doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats.
The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has a standard heated steering wheel to take the chill out of steering on extremely cold winter days before the vehicle heater warms up. A heated steering wheel costs extra on the X3 M.
The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk’s standard GPS navigation system has a real-time traffic update feature that plots alternative routes to automatically bypass traffic problems. (Service not available in all areas.) The X3 M’s navigation system doesn’t offer real-time traffic updates.
The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has a 115-volt a/c outlet on the center console, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The X3 M doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.
